DSPR 0800 Developmental Reading

A computer-assisted course which focuses on comprehension and vocabulary skills needed for general college reading and reading expository text. Major topics include vocabulary development, main idea and details, critical reading, flexible rate and strategies for organizing textbook information. (Prerequisite: DSPR 0700 or entry assessment.) 3 hrs. lecture, with additional individual and group conferences.
